Morgan

Morgan is a Vocal Music Education major at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She participates in the UL Chamber Singers, the Operas, and Musicals such as: Sweeney Todd, Another Openin’ Another Show, Gallantry, and more. Morgan currently serves as the UL Lafayette Choir’s President and is extremely involved in promoting the UL School of Music.

Morgan has competed in numerous voice competitions around Louisiana, such as: NATS, the New Orleans Opera Youth Vocal Competition, and LMEA All-State Choir Festivals. She has a diverse musical background from Opera, Musical Theatre, dance, choir, band, and piano. Throughout her elementary, middle, and high school years, she strived to perform as much as possible and be involved in as many musical events available to her. One thing Morgan is most grateful for is the strong influence of music teachers that inspired her to be where she is today, and to encourage more involvement in music around Acadiana.

Looking into the future, Morgan plans on teaching any level school choir, continuing her education in Choral Conducting, and staying involved in performance.  Nothing gives her greater joy than sharing her love of music with her students.
