Caitlin

Caitlin is a Vocal Music Performance major at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She has been involved with the university’s Chorale and Chamber Singers, as well as being part of the UL Opera Theater’s productions each semester. These productions include: Captain Lovelock, Sweeney Todd, Hansel and Gretel, The Old Maid and the Thief, and more. Before attending ULL, Caitlin graduated from the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts where she studied Vocal Music. She was given roles in operas such as: Dido and Aeneas, Cendrillon, Rinaldo, and many opera scenes programs.

Caitlin has placed 3rd in the 2015, and 2nd in the 2016 National Association of Teachers of Singing competition, and was a finalist in the first ever New Orleans Opera Youth Vocal Competition. She has a diverse musical background from Opera, Musical Theater and Choir. Caitlin has always looked for opportunities to further her education in music and greatly appreciates every mentor and teacher she has ever studied under.

Looking into the future, Caitlin plans on furthering her education in Vocal Performance. She aims to impart the lessons she has learned onto her students and to share her passion for singing. Caitlin looks forward to sharing her love of music with her students.
