Online Music Lessons - The Music Box

Students can enjoy high quality online music lessons with The Music Box, from the comfort of anywhere, through ZOOM. Online lessons are available in all instruments we offer in person including voice, piano, ukulele, guitar, & bass guitar.

Online students can enjoy all of the benefits of private lessons membership at The Music Box, including participation in concert experiences & recording opportunities. The online music lesson option is a great fit for busy families who enjoy the added convenience of participating in extracurriculars without the commute.

What technology do we need at home for online lessons?

For the best online lesson experience we recommend high speed internet and a reliable and fully charged computer, tablet or mobile device.

Do we need to have an instrument at home?

Yes, to participate in online lessons at The Music Box, you need to have an instrument at home. We always recommend having an instrument at home to allow the student to play regularly. Because our students learn new skills every week, having an instrument to develop those skills between lessons is essential. Some of our students inherit family instruments, rent an instrument from us, or purchase a starter instrument. We'd be delighted to make an instrument recommendation for you.

If we sign up for online lessons can we also attend in person?

Absolutely. We just ask that you inform the front desk staff of any change to your attendance type, so your instructor can be made aware to look for you in the lobby at the start of your lesson time. In this case you would notify us of a change from online attendance to in person attendance.
